The sales engineer shall be responsible for the sales and marketing activities on ITW Performance Polymers & Fluids products (mainly Devcon, Densit, Korrobond) in allocated market segment within assigned geographical territory by supporting customers on provision of technical advice on the products as well as to explain and answer any query from customers on the technical and functional aspects of the Company’s products
- Responsible for sales growth in assigned territory, market segment and accounts
- Proactively develop and expand new customers in assigned territory to meet company sales target
- Analyze market potential and develop competitive positioning and strategies
- Conduct product training and presentation to customers to demonstrate product’s attributes on how it suits the customers better than competing products
- Understand customer needs to uncover additional opportunities within assigned market and accounts through on-site demo application/product support
- Provide Pre- and Post-sales and technical support to customers
- Track and Report sales activities and new development status; submit weekly and monthly report
- Follow up sales order through phone calls and regular visits
- Strong communications and relationship building skills (distributors/end-users) that can successfully translate opportunities to order
- To complete any other work assigned by superior
- Develop a presence in the field through personal travel with all of the Sales Representatives. Manage this travel within allotted budget and resources
- Promote, support and adhere to all safety, environmental and quality related policies and procedures.

- Experience in managing regional distributors with fine business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit
- Overseas travelling is required
