This position is responsible for sourcing and purchasing daily works, and co-operating with team member to develop competitive domestic suppliers, and other tasks assigned by leader
Sourcing:
- Execute the commodity purchasing strategy, develop new sources under department’s principle;
- Develop Tier-2 suppliers based on the purchasing strategy; submit regular sourcing report to leader;
- Monitor market price trend for raw material regularly, and generate report to leader;
- Develop Second source or replacement item, and follow up sample approval status;
- Documentation (Agreements) collect with suppliers
- Period review supplier’s performance, execute supplier phase out and new supplier introduction process
Purchasing (not must but if applicable) :
- Purchase Order manage: Release PO of FG or Spare parts PO to CM, monitor the production building progress which target to meet the need by date;
- Weekly update CM Open PO Report and maintain promise date in system;
- Work closely with assigned CM to follow-up every stage of production, which from PO release, material
preparation, production, to shipment complete;
- Work with planner and logistic department to manage PO on-time shipment;
- Co-operate with internal team to settle down production problem (issues includes quality, price, delivery, capacity limit, etc…)
- 3-5 years of working experience as a buyer or sourcing specialist.
- Can speak Mandarin (Chinese) fluently, familiar to work in Chinese-speaking environment; Can read, write in English. Speaking English fluently would be a plus
- Electrical or mechanical engineering education or working background would be preferred
- Good communication skills with strong sense of teamwork.
- Good knowledge of responsible commodities.
- Strong sense on quickly response, and reliable result.
- Experienced with MS-Office tools, be familiar with Excel / PowerPoint are required.
Salary: 1500USD-1800USD
