- New Product Introduction (NPI) State
• Support UEFI/BIOS features issues analyzing for Intel SoC platform (X86, Qualcomm), including RAS, SMBIOS, ACPI, GPIO, SMI, ROM update.
• Execute the checking items on UEFI to OS checklist. Report failures systematically on corresponding bug systems.
• Troubleshoot UEFI blockers during bring up.
• Provide/analyze the root cause, troubleshoot, locate UEFI related issues solution fixed and provide memory dumps to vender co-work.
• Complete relevant tasks in a timely manner according to project requirements
- Sustaining State
• Firmware maintenance
• Support regular retail firmware and Customer OS refresh, coordinating the deployment, making necessary source code change, and qualifying the released SW bits.
• Provide customized experimental firmware for FA purpose.
• Join FA meeting discussing, analyzing and validation tasks.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in UEFI or familiar SoC in UEFI codes, like as Intel ITP;
Familiar with UEFI, BMC, IPMI, PCI/PCIe, USB protocol
Good firmware and hardware debugging skills.
Strong C/C++/Python and know RUSP coding skills.
SW IDE: VS code, Lauterbach
A BS/BEng in Computer/Electronic/Information/Automation Engineering, or Computer Science or related field.
Experience with various busses and interfaces. For example, UART, USB, I2C, ADC and SPI are beneficial.
Able to debug across various environments and to quickly identify and resolve issues spanning multiple subsystems, owners, and organizations.
Strong logical thinking and good ability to analyze and solve problems.
Experience with new hardware bring-up & factory manufacturing.
Workable English is a strong plus.
- Pre-tax payroll budget: 15-18k RMB (can open for 25k) & Don't have any other allowance.
